Chocolate Baroque Goodness
Hi my crafty peeps!
I hope everyone has had a wonderful weekend and made time to create crafty magic. Below is something I worked on last weekend during a crop I attended at Jeckyl Island.
The coloring of course was done with Copic markers, the flower stamp is from a set by Chocolate Baroque, and the background music is from Hero Arts.
The background process is easy. I stamped the background using Brilliance Pigment Moonlight white ink, and white embossing powder. I really wanted the image to pop white, so using white ink with white powder ensured this result. Next I blended 3 colors of TH Distress Oxide inks, which as you can see blend beautifully.
Nest I stamped the flower image and colored it in with Copic markers. I fussy cut out the flower and mounted it to the card front. For the finishing touch, I added pearls and a saying. I have to say, this turned out better than imagined. As fellow crafters, you know how often you know what you want your projects to look like in your head, but the end result doesn't quite match your vision? Luckily this time, the end result exceeded what I had pictured in my head, lol.
I hope you can find some inspiration in my card, and as always, happy crafting!
